Review:Have never had a windows based tablet before but decided to try one for our clinic to integrate with our practice software and to allow more mobility with patient and client data while working under the curbside limitations of COVID-19. Can't believe how nice this tablet feels. Solid without being bulky or cumbersome. Smooth lines. Nice texture. Set up and runs just like a lap top. After that it was just like having a hand held version of our work stations. Allows inputting client and patient information, sharing x-rays from our digital server with clients in the car. Now that we know they work so well, we'll be buying multiple for the technical staff. Price was amazing for such a nice tablet and shipping was incredibly fast. Widows tablets had intimidated due to the high price so I'd been concerned with trying it and finding it wasn't substantial enough or full featured. Glad I went this way. Read more

Review:I had previously bought the Fusion5 FWIN232 128gb with the Atom processor. Slow, slow, slow, and many issues just running software and the sound kept dropping out. But, I returned it and bought the new, much, much, much improved Fusion 5 FWIN232 64gb S2 that has the Celeron 3450 (?) and the difference is absolutely amazing. No hitches in running, it runs much cooler, and by comparison, it is blazingly fast. The sound is louder connected to my Anker Soundcore 2 Bluetooth speaker and I can actually take advantage of the available Windows sound modifications without any problems. Having Windows 10 Pro installed is also a significant upgrade and I think it helps the tablet to run better. For $10 bucks more, I definitely got more than I bargained for. I also saw that you have this in a 128gb configuration but it hasn't been released yet. Comparitively speaking vs. the Microsoft Surface Go, this is a better product for much less money. Keep up the good work. I've already been bragging about this to my friends who I hope if they are in the market consider this product. Awesome job, Fusion!!!!! After having this tablet since October 2020, the battery does not charge anymore and the sound drops out whether on Bluetooth or plugged in through the headset port. I have done a factory reset twice, which is a serious pain since I have to reinstall whatever programs I had on the computer again and it takes a couple of hours or more to set it up again. I have contacted the manufacturer about the warranty and they seem unwilling to honor it. Amazon has also said indicated that I can no longer return it for a refund or even a gift card to use toward the purchase of a different tablet, which in this case would be a Windows tablet. I should have sprung for the real deal, but now I am stuck with a buggy tablet that if the power plug becomes loose it turns off. Another issue concerns going into sleep mode. I end up having to do a hard reboot to get the tablet to come on again. While this is no big issue, it is annoying, to say the least. I would not recommend this product to anyone, though I was initially really impressed. It's clear there are some manufacturing issues with the parts, especially the battery which died 3 months after it arrived. Read more

Review:I was looking for a good Windows 10 tablet to replace my old 2016 RCA Cambio. After much searching, I came across this one. The specs are nice and I was confident that it should handle Windows 10. After tweaking it to my needs, I found this tablet very solid. The only real issue I had was tracking now accessories. 1. Case - I bought the one from the Fusion5 website and really didn't like it. Went with this one - 2. Screen Protector - Easy to install, no issues - 3. Keyboard - There is a keyboard/case attachment built specifically for this ( but I ended up with this one since it works with multiple devices - 4. Extra charger - This tablet can be charged in two ways. The first is a USB-C PD charger that is included with the tablet. If you want an extra one, the PD Charger needs to support 12v/3a or it will not charge. ( The 2nd way is the through the 5v port. I was unable to find this adapter anywhere (US version). The easiest method is the USB-C PD charger. 5. Pen - This thing is just awesome. Works great and no finger smudges - 6. SD Card - Although the tablet comes with 64GB of storage, it runs out quickly. This SD Card is quick and I can run programs off of it well. Technical 2 technical issues that you may run into: 1. Windows Updates - Major windows updates take a long time. The best thing to do is to start the update, plug it in and forgot about it till the next day. You can download Windows Update Assistant to help. (Google) 2. Driver Updates - Some driver updates do not come through Windows Update for some reason. I recommend that you download the Intel Driver & Support Assistant from Intel's website. It will run in the background and make it easier to keep it up to date. Read more

Review:Maybe I was unlucky, very impressed with product until I got it up and running. Mainly got this to connect to spare TV in kitchen to use Sky Go and to replace an older 8" Lynx tablet that takes ages to respond to anything now. Thought with the 6GB Ram things would be smooth. Instead had a bit of lag and delay. Downloaded Sky Go, playback was jerky, checked broadband speed on device which was over 30MB. Tried to connect to TV using HDMI cable but would not work. I found that I had to hold the cable very tight to the device and it worked, soon as I took my hand off it disconnected, so dodgy HDMI port too. Reset and returned. My old Lynx when it decides to load Sky Go does not have a jerky picture so reckon I just had an unlucky experience. Read more

Review:This may be a 10" tablet but with Windows 10 pro installed it is a wolf in sheeps clothing. It is a little slow to boot up but once it is the performance matches my old i7 PC. Bought it to transfer photos from my DSLR which it does without problem and can display the 35Mb raw files with ease. I would recommend getting a Micro SD card as the 64Mb onboard storage soon fills up. The only thing I would like to see to an upgraded version of this tablet is the addition of a sim card slot. That being said, it connected perfectly to my phone being used as a hotspot with no noticeable lag in performance. If you are looking for a Windows performance PC in the size of a tablet display then this is it. Read more

Review:I am typing this review on the FWIN232 Plus S2 Fusion 5 Tablet PC using the keyboard that turns the machine into a small laptop computer. The tablet and keyboard are well put together and give the overall impression of a quality product. In terms of overall performance this little machine performs as well as my 2 year old HP 14" laptop and certainly starts up a lot faster. So far I have not added an SD card and am running all the normal productivity products, MS Office, Mozilla Thunderbird, Google Chrome, printer and scanner software along with the programs that come with Windows 10. In addition I have connected it up to 2 x 3TB USB Hard disks using the additional USB socket that is built into the keyboard. With this setup I was able to watch a film, video and sound were very acceptable. All in all I am very pleased with this Tablet PC and would definatley buy again. Read more

Review:I purchased this to replace a Apple IPad Mini that is about 10 years old. It's a great replacement, weight good but it took a while to setup due to a lot of Windows updates, once updated it seems to run well. It is more snappy than the old IPad. Screen is clear and responsive. Charged it for 7hrs as requested, I will have to see how the battery lasts. Overall up to now very pleased with the tablet. Read more

Review:I have never considered Windows for a tablet before, but a friend asked for a recommendation so I had to do some research. The idea kind of became more attractive from there. The reviews for this tablet were generally very good so I ordered the 6GB RAM version. I am very impressed with how it operates and the quality. It comes with Windows 10 PRO - I was half expecting the 'S' version despite the description. I have installed all sorts of software on it and tested various websites and it seems no different to a desktop. I have hardly put the thing down since it arrived several days ago! It has been used for watching webinars and was most convenient for wandering about the house with and not missing anything. The touch screen seems very good and responsive and precise. I have been using mine with a Logitech K780 bluetooth keyboard which is perfect with it and a Dell Bluetooth mouse makes life that bit easier for extended use. Video playback is excellent. I have watched locally hosted files from my network as well as Youtube and the quality is extremely good. The only comment I would make is the same as the one others have made, bubbles under the screen protector. A card in the box states there is a wafer-thin screen protector fitted at the factory. There are seven bubbles under mine, not huge by any means but noticeable when powered off. I did initially consider returning it but decided to give it a try. To be honest the bubbles do not show when the screen is lit, except slightly on solid colour which is just about never displayed. So overall I don't see this as detracting from the quality in use. On one edge, there is what I think is a micro HDMI, one USB3 'normal' sized connector, a micro SD slot which I understand takes up to 128GB (that's the size I have put in) and a headphone socket. As others have commented, the sound is a little weak from the built-in speakers but to be honest, I wouldn't expect more in something so slim. I have not tried the camera as yet but there is just the one above the screen and I doubt it will see much use from me. The tablet really does work so well that I have recommended to my friend who is looking to buy some for the local community Councillors for their work. Overall I am extremely happy with mine and it has become quite invaluable very quickly. If not for the little bubbles I would give five stars, in fact I would give four and half now but that's now an option! Time will tell of course and I will edit this if problems occur, but initial experience is very good. I hope this helps you decide. Read more
