Review:Nice case! Great quality! I like the design that could slide to cover the camera. The material actually feels good in hand. Read more

Review:This case is slick. Not in a cool way though. I tried this case out for a few hours and had to switch back to a previous case I had. The texture is not grippy at all. I also purchased this case for the sliding cover feature for the camera and unfortunately is not the easiest to use. Maybe it’s the size of the phone, I’m not sure but we found it difficult to slide the cover over the camera and back. The cover also popped off when trying to put the case in my phone. Fairly easy to put it back in place but it took 3 tries before getting the case on w/o popping the cover off. Aesthetically we were disappointed. The look of the case w/ photos online in comparison to real life are not in line. I ordered a blue case that looked like it was deep or royal blue but what arrived was a toyish blue. The grooves that I assume are for grip are not functional. Read more

Review:For paying around $10 for the case, it is not bad if you really want your camera covered. The case is rather slippery and hard to hold on to, and the camera cover is a pain to use. The slide that goes over the camera is way too hard to move. Even with the ridges it does not want to budge that well, and if you are attempting to use your camera quickly it won’t be good. There were times I had to remove the slide piece in order to uncover/cover the camera. The cameras lenses are strong enough to withstand most of the things the phone will go through throughout the day. A normal case has a raised edge around the camera anyways which provides enough protection. I really don’t see it as providing too much drop protection either. Read more

Review:On paper, and on first glance, this Iphigenia case seems like a good idea. I even remember thinking a few days before I found this case that cameras on phones are getting so big that it seems like cases with lens covers should be more of a thing. Whether or not that’s true (see my final point below), they certainly shouldn’t be anything like this thing. It feels like a prototype: it’s enough to get the idea across, but you would never put it into production like that. Oh but they did! As other reviews have mentioned, the cover is sharp and sticky. It’s hard to unlock and hard to lock in either position, so it would probably wind up hanging out in the middle of your phone, only partially blocking your images. They skipped the step where they should have filed down the inside edges of the cover. The cover just sits in a grooved slot on the phone. In terms of design, that seems like the most obvious solution. But it’s not the best solution, and they really should have kept looking. Their QC seems nonexistent. I think their mold had some dirt in it when they made the case I received, because it had air pockets around the slot. Speaking of, how quickly do you think that groove would be full of dust and dirt to the point the sliding cover wouldn't function properly? The slot is constructed in such a way that there is an empty space inside phone. I’m guessing that they did this to cut costs on manufacturing, but that introduces some new structural issues to what should be a protective case. Now, this could be a cool place to hide a $20, but overall, you would probably still be better off just using that $20 to buy a different case. Returning to the outside of the case, the diagonal texture on the case runs in the wrong direction for a person holding the phone in their right hand. That might possibly be good news for lefties, were it not that plenty (if not all) other cases are already designed for ambidextrous use. Lastly, the cherry on top of this “fudge” sundae, the material not only didn’t repel the oil from my hand, it was as if it were the winning paper towel in the competition to soak up a spill. Immediately upon handling, the matte blue turned patchy and glossy. This material could be a great visual aid for museum docents to show people why they shouldn’t touch the art, but it’s the wrong choice for a product that is literally made for frequent handling! iPhones camera lenses are synthetic sapphire. They’re ridiculously strong, and scratch resistant to pretty much everything but sapphires. If you frequently find yourself in a situation where some sapphires might scratch your camera lenses, then a cheap case like this still probably isn’t your style. If you don’t find yourself in that situation, then stop worrying about your camera lenses (and/or maybe get AppleCare if it isn’t too late) and just buy a better case. Read more

Review:My spouse got the black, while I got the blue. The difference in the sliding door is incredible. If the black case's sliding door is shut entirely, it's virtually impossible to open. The blue case, however, never has this problem. Both cases are beautiful and feel rugged and durable. Even in the black case's example I believe that, at the worst, if you left the sliding door open you're no worse than literally all other cases on the market since the case generally protects the phone. Another reviewer suggested that their mold may have had some dirt in it and it's led the sliding component to be finnicky on some stock. I believe this is probably what's going on. Without being sure if all cases are sometimes affected, my suggestion would be to avoid the black one if you want the sliding door to not be excruciating to open and close. Read more

Review:That slider gimmick does not work at all. Just got my iphone 12 pro max even though I prepped & had this case a couple weeks now. Finally took it out of the box last night and put it on the phone. It would not move. So I took it off the phone, and the slider slightly moved. But not really. I literally slid it back and forth at least 100 times using a finger on each side of it to attempt to, I dunno, break it in? It just doesn't move when on the phone. It’s like the case tightens and restricts it. There is no way in hell this thing just simply slides. So then I put it back on the phone and still, it will not move at all. It is literally completely stuck in the open mode exposing the lenses. I will 1oo% be returning this item & will not buy another product from this brand. I knew this was gonna be some gimmicky nonsense. Read more

Review:This review is for 12 Pro Max. The build quality is very good and will last but the design is not tested for ease of use. Overall not recommended. * Wireless charging is ok 1 out of 10 tries. The back material is thicker than needed which I think is causing wireless charging problems. * The camera door is real hard to open and close. They need to reduce the friction caused by the top and bottom edge of the window piece. * The small opening of the lightning charging port is too small and may prevent you to plug in some cables with bigger plug.
