Review:Compared to the 1/10 scale monster Jam Grave digger and the 1/14 maisto rock crawler, this car is better than both. 2.4 gHz controller is a must! the 800 mAh batter is substantially better than AA's or non replaceable. it's a little smaller than I expected but it's good for driving inside or outside which is key. the rubber tires don't tear up furniture/walls if driven inside (which will happen in the winter). my 30 lb toddler actually stands on this thing (I freak out every time) and it has withstood the abuse. the conversion feature is really neat. I wish the battery cover didn't need screws but at least it doesn't fall off and they included a nice little magnetic screwdriver which is a nice bonus. buy an extra battery (with this or any car) for extra enjoyment. It's quick little sucker too but not so fast that kids can't control it. great value in the price range. go cheaper and either the battery or controller will be reduced quality. more expensive is diimishing return on enjoyment for kids. Review:Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Kids and adults loved having this to play with on Christmas morning. Battery life is excellent, good speed and handling and simple enough for my 5 year old to drive. Love the ability to transform. Would be nice if it could contract 2 ways. Great value and would highly recommend. Read more

Review:Comes with 2 battery packs, charger, remote and car. Remote has forward-reverse, left-right, and a button that makes the wheels go up or down. With the wheels down it will run up and flip over on almost any vertical surface then keep going on the opposite side. This car almost can’t be stopped. With the wheels up it will act as a monster truck to small toy cars. My son loves it. The two battery packs allow you to have one charge while still playing with the car. Battery life in the car is good with about an hour of start and stop running. Still haven’t changed the remote batteries yet with over two weeks of playing with it. Read more

Review:This is my first remote control car for my son-- and maybe because I'm new to this, but I think I expected some of the basics of the experience to be better. My 4 year old son loves this, but I have to use the tiny screwdriver (provided at least) to remove a tiny screw (since I decided not to do both since I'm lazy and it is fine) that could easily be lost (I guess they do provide extra, but... maybe just do a push-clip or a locking screw?) to take out the battery and charge it. It's a bit of a whiny complaint, but this would make the experience better when you drain a battery in ~30mins. It seems like it takes a few hours to charge, but I'll admit, I haven't paid close attention to it. The transforming is great- I have no idea how well other nice rock crawlers (for the same price) do in this arena or if they just manage to not flip over in the first place, but it does save you from having to go flip it every few seconds since you can transform it. Does well in the grass in either mode. Keeps my son busy and entertained for a good while, and that is worth more than gold. Read more

Review:This was the greatest Christmas present I got my husband. I needed some thing for him to play with inside or outside, mostly outside when our daughters out there. I have never seen a remote control car do what this one does. It can go under the table it could climb on top of anything and everything, and when you think you got it stuck, hit the button and let it transform and you probably can get yourself out. The battery life does last for what it says, I just feel it’s not very long. Also, for the parents out there, my daughter like to try to push this not realizing it had gears. She broke it the next day. My husband took it apart, opened up the gear mechanism section, took out the broken part of the gear, put it back together and it still runs just as fine as it did when we first got it. Read more

Review:Batteries and recharging it: To get access to the Car battery to recharge it, you have to unscrew a little panel (two screws) on the bottom of the Car, and then unplug the (lithium polymer) battery that’s inside. The tiny plug has a tiny “release button” that you have to push to unplug it. Be careful that you don't just PULL it. A tiny charging cord is in the box. It plugs into (a) a USB port and (b) the battery itself. The Remote Control uses two AA batteries. The actual operation of the car (playing with it): You should turn on the Car first, then turn on the Remote Control. The Remote Control: The LEFT stick is “Forward” or “Backward.” One speed: FAST. The RIGHT stick turns it left or right. The oval middle button (between the two sticks) is the "transformer" that rearranges the orientation of the wheels. It causes the Car wheels to “transform.” You use it after you flip the Car over on its back (by ramming it against a wall. It’s actually fun). Playing with it outdoors is more fun than indoors, because there's no speed control. It just goes too fast. Read more

Review:This is a really fun RC car for my kids, ages 7-9. Very durable , easy to control, great step up from entry level RC cars. The kids love the "high" and "low" mode. However, when the fun ends, the PAIN begins. To recharge the car, you have to unscrew the bottom plate, remove the battery pack, and plug into the wall to charge. The battery life lasts about 30 minutes. To use the car multiple times in a day requires you to disassemble it each and every time. Major design flaw. This causes the kids to stop having any interest in playing with the car because its such a pain to recharge. Would love this car if we could simply open a port and plug the car in to charge without having to disassemble each and every time. Lastly, be careful to pull the charger out of the wall by the end piece. My daughter pulled it by the wire and pulled the wire out of the plug - rendering it useless. Read more

Review:My kids love driving this car. The transforming feature is fun and can be useful if you get stuck. When the truck is up it can roll over during sharp turns, which adds excitement, then hit the magic button and away you go. When the truck is low it is very stable and won't flip over easily. Battery life is decent, and it's great that it comes with an extra battery so that you can have one charged and ready to go! When the truck is flat, if you get it on it's side on 2 wheels you can do some fun donuts! Cons are due to the design of the truck pivoting to be able able to transform riding high or low you can't drive the vehicle in a straight line and there is no way to calibrate it. Lots of fun for doing circles etc, good luck driving down a sidewalk! Also, the truck is too small to be able to drive well in grass. It can, but it has to work pretty hard and it's probably wearing on the truck. Durability is also suspect, first truck broke after limited use, but the seller replaced it which was great. For the price it's about what you would expect. Read more

Review:Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Ok I've been researching Remote Control cars for awhile and I'm so happy I bought this and a second one! Aside from this being super cool to drive on flat surfaces, grass, rock, dog toys you name it thanks to its quick transition into truck mode from street mode, it comes with a spare battery pack which both packs are rechargeable! Also comes with a handy little screw drive and spare screws as well as a 1 yr limited warranty with the company. Simply email them with your Amazon order number (warranty card provided) and you're good to go! Read more

Review:I purchased this remote controlled car for my 5 year old son to help occupy his time this summer. He has had a lot of fun with it driving in the grassy backyard and also on pavement and dirt trails. If the car get flipped over on its back, there is a button on the remote control to flatten the car out so it can continue to drive on either side. This great feature eliminates the frustration of having to go pick the car up and turn it over. This ability stopped working shortly after receiving the car but after reaching out to the excellent customer service team, it was quickly replaced and we've had no problems since. The batteries last a reasonable amount of time and there were 2 packs included. Dealing with the batteries is a job for Mom or Dad because of the small screws to take out and small battery connections but it is easy and quick. Overall, money well spent! Read more

Review:Fun little car to play around with. The transforming function is very cool. Little kids really like it. Biggest dissapointment is the speed. Doesn't even come close to the 20km/h the manufactuer states. I would say 5-10km/h max. So if you want a fun car to just boot around for 20 minutes that little kids will have fun with, this is a great car. If you want a car with any sort of speed, look elsewhere. Overall you get what you pay for. Extra battery a nice touch. Have to unscrew battery compartment to change/charge battery, which is a bit of a pain. Read more

Review:I purchased two of these units for my children and they love them, especially the off road feature. Unfortunately we ran into trouble with one of the RC units ..... it just stopped working. However, a quick exchange of information with the manufacturer, and they were able to confirm the problem and send a replacement. Both units are working great and both kids are still have lots of fun. Great product, great fun, and great customer service from bezgar. Read more
