Review:I wanted an inexpensive snapshot camera for my wife, the technophobe. This Vmotal unit will probably do the job but it is definitely only good for casual snapshots. The camera is labeled "12 Megapixels" Maybe, but even with everything set to the highest resolution looks like 10 of those 12 megapixels got lost in the process. Files are JPG format and show a lot of compression artifacts, probably because of processor speed limitations. Using auto-exposure, highlights are blown out unless the scene has a very low dynamic range. Auto-focus isn't a problem because I don't think it has any, just the old Kodak Brownie style fixed-focus lens. Sensitivity seems low and normal indoor lighting seems to be barely adequate, with long exposure time requiring a very steady hand to minimize motion blur (I'm still playing with settings, but the "anti-shake" setting doesn't seem to help at all). Overall, best results seem to be using highest detail settings all around coupled with manually setting ISO to 400, the highest setting. I'm not saying you shouldn't consider buying this camera, just be very aware it isn't anywhere as good as, for example, your iPhone's camera, and if left with all settings at default the results on many scenes won't be too great. On the other hand, if it gets lost or dropped in the lake, it won't hurt like losing the iPhone, or a Canon camera. Read more

Review:This camera/video is very easy to use and it takes good pictures and videos with sound if you prefer. I need it for all the birthdays and holidays in my life because I still have a flip phone with undesirable pictures, new phone costs too much. Read more

Review:It gets 3 stars because I read the description and knew what I was buying... This purchase was for my 8 year old. She picked it out (with a gift card) and couldn’t be talked into a better model. You get what you pay for. She’s been able to navigate the buttons well enough and is thrilled to be able to take pics of what she wants. I have to say as an adult though... this is a 30ish dollar camera made if cheap plastic, 12 mega pixels...it’s what you’d expect. Blurry. Pixelated. Washout flash. Long Lag anytime you push a button or change a setting. Make sure to read the description. Read more

Review:Bought this for my shop guys to document things. Very easy to use. However, pictures are blurry unless we use a tripod. The zoom makes the pictures even worse.. I received what I paid for I guess. We ended up tossing the camera as I missed my return window. I could see this being a fun toy for young kids. Read more

Review:Not at all impressed, actually disappointed in easy of use and quality of pictures. Slow response time and generally over all not for child over 2 years old. Gave 2 stars 1 for price and 2nd for looks. My 6 year old lost interest because of what I mentioned. Spend more for better. Read more
