Review:These are by far the best toilet wands you can get. I tried another style that looked like kitchen tongs,(yes, really), and that were unusable because I have arthritis. I don't actually use the plunger on these, because they do break, but I just very carefully remove the paper after I've used it. It's easy, and neatly done without a mess. It only takes about 5 squares of paper, folded, just tuck the top part of each end into the groove on the back. You should be careful to make sure the paper goes up all the way to the tip of the wand. This makes it easy to remove the used paper neatly from the bottom where the paper is slightly raised up. These wands are a godsend for anyone with restricted movement due to weight, age, or arthritis. Read more

Review:Works well for my elder mom, trick is to double fold the toilet paper, and then insert into the fold of the Toilet aid. But Dont wrap toilet paper around the end of it, it will get stuck, Double fold toilet paper, then insert into then the end, that is it. Read more

Review:I had a fall awhile back and I hurt my right shoulder badly and needless to say I have never been the same since then because of my injury my reach is somewhat limited, unfortunately for me it's my lead/strong arm, so I have had to use my left arm more often for a variety of task. At first it was a bit messy but with some time and practice I learned how to properly wipe again with my left hand but it was not without a lot of exertion and time. It's become somewhat uncomfortable and It makes relieving my bowls not so much of a relief. Here's the part where the wipe aid comes in. I literally just got the wipe aid about an hour ago and I've already put it to use. First I gave it a good wipe down with a antibacterial wipe and some antibacterial soap and warm water( I suggest that you do the same before and after) , then I practiced putting on the toilet wipes and toilet paper on the cushioned rubbery grip end and then once I achieved that, I felt like it was time to move forward and use the wipe aid for its intended purposes. Next I used the wipe aid to aid me in cleansing myself it took about three tries to get it right but after the third third try it was easy peasy from there on and out and best of all it was without any discomfort or exertion. I rated four stars because I feel like the release button could use some work and the tip where you place the toilet paper in should have the gripper on both sides. Last they need to use a stronger bond ond the rubber ends and same for the plastic stick maybe instead of it being two pieces it can be a stronger solid piece. I wouldn't recommend that you try using it from the front while sitting on the toilet especially if you're overweight. Read more

Review:This product was perfect for helping to stay fresh and clean after shoulder surgery. It works best with wet wipes as I displayed in the photos. I would recommend this very cost effective wand to anyone needing a bit of assistance using the bathroom and is unable to turn your body. You can use it sitting completely facing forward. Read more

Review:I ordered this in preparation for surgery. It worked great. I wasn’t convinced it would be helpful after reading some of the negative reviews but I had no problems. Paper stayed in place when needed and was easy to remove. Read more

Review:As someone who is disabled (with MS) and has difficulty both standing and gripping things, I am always looking for things that may make my life a bit/lot easier. So when I saw this gadget and the reviews, I thought it might be useful for my needs and it was worth spending £13 to see if it would work for me. The first few uses of it have proved that it is quite useful and mostly does the job that it is designed to do. Certainly attaching toilet paper to it is easy and it does hold it. But the latter bit of the last sentence is the problem. It holds the paper TOO well. In fact it is getting the gadget to let go of the paper that is one of the problems. I am repeatedly pushing the base of it, and I know it works as I can feel it pushing through the inside, but the paper just seems to cling on and will not let go. I shake the paper a bit, and have made a small pen mark at the base to show the side that has got the gripper on it, so the paper can try to drop out of the gripper when pushed, but still it is reluctant to let go. Incidentally, I have tried the gadget using both a cheap Supermarket's Own Brand and also the Market Leader (the one associated with cute Golden Labrador puppies). Both of these work the same with the device. But i am persistant, and will not be putting it back in its box any time soon. Maybe there is a knack for using it and that eventually, after quite a few goes, it will work every time and I will wonder what my problem was, though looking at other reviews I might not be so lucky. But I will keep on trying and hope that eventually it works every time. Read more

Review:This product has changed my life in one of my most basic needs. Being able to clean oneself after using the toilet was a nightmare and becoming nigh on physically impossible until in desperation I did an Amazon search for "Bottom Wiper" only to find it was a common need for many people. I'm so glad I did. This is a brilliant product and would recommend it to anyone who struggles with this issue. Read more

Review:Have been looking for something like this for a while but have not been able to find one that is easy to use and does the job it's intended for. I was doubtful at first having tried others that proved unusable, but was really happy with this one. I have a spinal problem and this is great to use because it's the right shape and long enough to not cause me pain when using. Would definitely recommend. Read more
