Review:you need to consider what's most important to you in setting up a palette, and how dry your paints will become after a week of set up. The 42 wells inside these palettes (I bought 3) are terrific to offer a larger mixing area. However, if you're one to close up your palette as I am, paint from above can contaminate the lower paint , unless your paints dry extremely well. I hadn't realized this when I bought these palettes (they came highly recommended by those in my art arena), and a LOT of thought went into their construction and design. Having 3 palettes of color sounded marvelous in theory when I bought them. Setting them all up the last 3 days made me realize this. I used Da Vinci brand paints in these palettes. (the wells slope downward to house a good amount of paint.). Some of the DV colors are a bit thinner than others, and as such, don't completely dry. Soooo...I'll have 3 very large palettes lying open on my studio (dining room) table! One of the best palettes I've purchased, but something to consider if I've written this review well enough for you to get a visual. Just remember: when closed, paints from above can drip down onto colors below IF they are not completely dried in the well. Good luck! Read more

Review:When I got the item, the box ends were opened. Amazon just slapped a label and chuck at my front door. Didn't bother to tape the ends. When contacted they said I have to drop off at UPS during this Stay at home time. They also said it was how the seller package it and to contact them. I contacted the seller and they never bother to reply. I do not want to risk going out during this time and just eat the lost. One side is closed tightly, the other has a small gap. It is large and holds a lot of paint. While there is no separation mixing area, it has lots of room in the two large spaces. As for quality, it is much cheaper and more flimpsy than the small palette I got at Daiso for $1.50. So unless you needs 42 wells, I would not recommend this. If you need 20 wells or less, get the Daiso one, has lots of spaces/separations for mixing paints and super sturdy. This is also very large, and it's more of a stay at home palette, hard to carry anywhere. Read more

Review:This pallete is really great for storing tons of paints. The wells are large, there’s a large mixing area, and the design of the pallete is very sleek. But there’s one small issue, and that is it’s hard to open the pallete. Personally it doesn’t bother me since all the pros overshadow the cons, but it would probably bother a less patient person. Review:I like this palette because it has 42 wells for paint, which is enough for a large variety of mixing colors, or all the color tubes in a large watercolor box. It also has a relatively generous mixing surface, It shuts pretty tight, so nothing leaks through. The palette is somehow fragile, but still sturdy enough for the studio. It is a not very sofisticate plastic palette though. For me, it entirely serves the purpose. The delivery was fast, so all in all a good buy. Read more

Review:I'm pretty careful with things I buy in general, so when an item is called cheap I say: "It depends". I have $1 Pencil cases from the dollar store still after 10 years and I have other things from when I was a kid that was said to be 'cheap', if that helps you decide how I evaluate products. If you want a palette that stands up to constant use, these hinges are decent. Since, I've used it for the last couple of months, it's holding up. I like the well count because it lets you keep more paint. Perfect for me. Read more

Review:Purchased this palette to contain my shin Han watercolor that are in tubes. Works great no problems. It will stain if you use colors that stain, but some Softsoap or Magic Eraser really helps to lighten the stain. The palette is large when open. Not exactly travel size and it is not leak proof. Overall, I like this palette, just wish the size was a bit smaller and easier to manage. Read more
