Review:I just wasted over an hour of my life reading reviews for index cards. I am tired of the quality of EVERYTHING going down the toilet. Company's markets can't grow so they rely on inhouse R&D to cheapen the products until nobody buys them...this is all products everywhere! These cards are very good quality and are actually thicker than some 15 year old cards I had to compare them to instead of the merely printed/cut paper you find posing as real index cards. I'm stocking up on these for the quality and thickness that are so difficult to find anymore even with top brands. My big box cards are so warped they became unusable even for grocery lists. The only down side to these Amazon cards is they aren't very white (I'm a bright white junkie)...comparing to the 15 year old cards I have they are the very same brightness. These will probably morph into thin paper over time...load up now! Read more

Review:I have been studying for a big test. I was having trouble studying, since sharpies and highlighters often bleed through blank index cards (showing the answer). I decided to try thicker index cards, so I purchased the AmazonBasics Heavy Weight Ruled Index Cards. I tested the cards to determine the thickness of the paper by using a black sharpie, pink highlighter, green highlighter, gold sharpie, and yellow highlighter on the front of the card. If you put the index cards on a surface, you can really only see the black and gold sharpies bleeding into the back of the paper. If you hold the index cards up, all the markers have bled through to the other side. The cards are moderately thick, not extremely thick (like the word “heavy weight” has led me to believe). I took away one star for the card thickness. Overall, I believe the index cards are fine and I would purchase them again. They deserve FOUR STARS! Read more

Review:I’m in medical terminology so flash cards are my friend. I’m only on chapter 8 and have already gone through almost 500 index cards. I’m pretty much a professional on index cards at this point. These are definitely heavier than office store brands and the off-brands and big box stores. They’re a good weight because they’re not flimsy but they’re not super thick to jam up my printer. Read more

Review:it's grouped with the 1 and 3 pack heavy weight notecards, BUT THESE are not heavy weight. Yes, it does seem inconsequential, but I use these for calligraphy and bleeding ink ruins the entire thing Read more

Review:I sent back a pack of Oxford index cards since they've been made paper-thin, and so useless for cataloguing purposes. After I ordered these Amazon Basics cards I found, by chance, some index cards I'd bought forty years ago. These AB cards were actually stiffer and heavier than the cards of my childhood. An astonishing verification of the high quality here! If you need good, stiff cards, there are they. Read more

Review:I was looking for some heavy weight index cards. These are ok but seem to me like what you traditinally expect from index cards. I would call them medium weight. Much better, however, than the cheap thin cards I got at America's largest discount chain. Read more

Review:Very good for an inexpensive Add-On item. Much stiffer than standard weight- Takes ink well - not as crisp as smooth card stock but totally fine for notes, lists, flash cards, etc. Ball point and gel had no bleed through or visibility from back side. Sharpies (fine and ultra fine) visible from back side, fine more so than ultra fine. This cost a star. Definitely a buy again item. Now I need them in a grid pattern! Read more

Review:I use these for studying medical terminology in college. So far, I've ordered 1,300. Haha They do show through a little bit if the light hits it just right, but not a big deal if studying alone. If you order multiple packs (even at the same time), they will likely be different heights. Small difference but I have mine in a long index card holder and you can see the unevenness. The quality is nice, I definitely prefer these over the cheap store-bought cards. I would call these heavy weight, they're pretty thick. Read more

Review:I first order this product a few months ago and I loved it they were stiff and sturdy and very high quality so I decided to reorder a 10 pack this time because of how much I loved these note cards unfortunately the 10 pack I received of the exact same brand I had purchased before are cheap and flimsy and total garbage what a waste and a rip-off so beware if you order you may get the good kind or the bad kind I am so disappointed and the only reason I reordered this product was because I loved it before and I'm very disappointed that they have replaced it with a much lower quality product Read more
