Review:Bought to print postage labels for E-bay sales. After less than twenty minutes out of the box, everything was set up and working. Pros: - Very compact. - Huge savings on effort and time compared to printing on normal paper, cutting out the label, and taping to a box. - Easy to use. - Seems very well built. - Comes with a USB cable, and a small "starter" packet of 4" x 6" self adhesive labels. - Website is nice with plenty of info and various how-to's (E-bay, Amazon, etc.) - Doesn't use proprietary labels. Cons: - There's a surprising oversight on the website, although it lists possible fixes for problems, it doesn't go into detail on how exactly to implement the fixes. To make the print-out darker, they suggest slowing down the print speed and increasing the print density in Printer Preferences -> Settings, but they don't tell you if the numbers should be higher or lower. Through trial and error I figured out the lower the number the slower the print speed (the "correct speed" for me appears to be 3 ). I'm still playing around with the density settings, but so far 6-8, prints out nice dark labels with no white spots. Bottom Line: There's really only four options for dedicated 4"x6" label printers. The Brother and DYMO both appear to have reliability issues, and the Zebra is too expensive (at least for what we're doing). As long as there's no malfunctions, the Rollo is looking like one of those devices that we'll wonder how we ever lived without it. Update: It's been more than six months and the Rollo keeps chugging along with regular (almost daily) use. Since the manufacturer has fixed their website instructions (very appreciated BTW), I'm now giving it five stars (from 4 to 5). Read more

Review:Ohhh man this thing is awesome. Seems too good to be true. It is an incredible hassle-free product. I never thought I could love a printer lol. As a small business owner, this thing pays for itself in both time and money. I originally bought this for shipping labels, but within a few minutes I started printing logo stickers to slap on the packages as well. Cause WHY NOT when you don't need to buy ink that's worth it's weight in gold. Read more

Review:I researched thermal printers online for a long time and I am so happy I bought this printer. I was originally going to get the Dymo label printer, but after reading the countless horror stories I opted for a safer option than the "mainstream printer." (Dodged that bullet) **This is probably one of the best purchases I have made this entire year. The printer is super easy to use and isn't any hassle at all. It prints beautifully with all the barcodes and words coming out crisp and clear. (Adjust printing density and speed until perfect in printing preferences) With small lettering and fonts, you will see some pixelation. However, I have only had this awesome printer for only a week or so, so there is probably some way to fix it (haven't discovered it yet). As a small business owner, I only have seconds to adjust printer settings or make changes, and this printer makes it sooooooo easy. Make sure to read the setup manual and take the time to learn the functions or the button and what the different flashing lights are. But, you could also do a bit of learning on your own (like how I did) and read up as you go along. The setup took less than half an hour. Be prepared to go through and ruin the first 10-15 labels before you have the process perfect. It's just the name of the game of 'zeroing it in'. I love the fact that I can switch paper sizes extremely quick. All you have to do is move these two sliders within the printer either wider or smaller to fit the paper you want to use. After that, you feed the paper in - close the lid - and run the scan so the printer can recognize the size. *Before you click "Print" on your computer make sure to have your Printer Preferences or Settings set to the correct paper size. ---- EDIT --------- December 3rd, 2018 Printer is still going strong with thousands of labels printed. We do FBA product labels and shipping labels through Shipstation day in and day out. Haven't had one issue at all. Integration is super simple and not an issue as long as you follow the directions. One thing we've learned is to make sure you have a decent PDF editing program so you can crop and print labels on the fly if you need to. This is done by using the snapshot tool to print what you select off of a PDF, which is great for FBA product labels and such. ---- EDIT --------- March 4th, 2019 Still going strong. None of my opinions have changed about this printer. Shipped 1,000's of packages with the thermal printer without any concerns. I still recommend this printer to all small business owners. Read more

Review:I purchased this printer for printing shipping label for my business. Soon after installing, the printer started malfunctioning, printing blurry labels and required constant fiddling. I have wasted time and labels with this, see photo for examples. Contacted customer support a few weeks ago, but no solution yet. Update: Rollo said that perhaps the problem was the labels I was using and send me proprietary label to test. This did not help. Then I was asked to send the printer back (at my own cost). Rollo sent me a replacement unit (I had to pay shipping). This unit had other issues where it would feed labels through and stop in the middle of the label and the light would blink red. Had to be reset each time. Have tried this on 3 different computers with none of them working. By now we are on the 3rd printer. It arrived today. Major issues. the print will start and then stop in the middle of the print and each time it runs, a fans whirs loudly. Spent a bunch of time on the phone with Rollo. They don't have a solution and will not provide a refund. I have wasted time and money and am left high and dry. Read more

Review:Fantastic Thermal Printer for the money. Prints just as good as my $3000 thermal printer. Fast, clear and easy to use. It took me less than 20 minutes to set it up. Also, I read a review saying it doesn't print properly with Canada Post ship labels. Well, it does print them and very well to boot. Just need to use their software and set the printer setting to Thermal printing. Very pleased so far. Printed 20 labels the first day. I'll follow up with a review at a later date. Highly recommend this printer. Thank you Read more
