Review:After a LOT of research, I thought this was the best choice. I am very frustrated that this thermometer is not consistent OR accurate. After I installed fresh batteries, it worked a handful of times, but temperature on same person fluctuated from 97.0 to 98.7 degrees in 5 minutes. About an hour later the only way to get device to turn on was to remove, then reinstall the batteries! Then we got a reading in red showing first 181 degrees, then it wouldn’t read at all. I don’t need the stress of fighting with an inferior product...this is being returned! Read more

Review:Purchased the thermometer to have a method to check temperatures by non-contact. The thermometer's box and content was not sealed which bothered me because of COVID. Once I placed two AAA batteries in the thermometer, it instantly was ready to take temperatures. It easy to use and and displayed my temperature in Celsius, it was easy to change the settings to Fahrenheit. I compared thermometers - ear, oral, and this noncontact -by taking my temperature 3x with each thermometer. Using this non-contact thermometer my forehead temp read 97.9, the ear thermometer read 98.4, and the oral thermometer (under my tongue) read 97.4. I think it's accuracy its fair because I researched that ear temps can be up to 1° higher than oral and forehead temps can be up to 1° lower than oral. When using the non- contact thermometer, I'll consider if one-degree higher would be within the range of a fever. Took one star because of the packaging. Read more

Review:We have tested it numerous times on numerous people. The temp has never read higher than 91. When my wife and I got daily tests at work, on different thermometers, temp is always normal. Now my wife and I are both home with Covid and this thing still reads between 89 and 91. It simply is not accurate. Doesn’t look like there is any way to calibrate it. My advice is to not buy it. Review:I replaced another digital thermometer with this one because the other one was just all over the place with the temps it reported. This one is just the opposite. I put in new batteries and EVERYONE is 98.0. Time goes by and I swap the batteries, then everyone is 97.7 degrees. I really don't trust what it is telling me. If I point it at a hot object it does tell me that it's very hot, but in terms of detecting forehead temps, I don't believe a word it says. Read more
