Review:THE GOOD: I really like this jacket. I wear it in temps up to -10 degrees Celsius, but it's lightweight enough that you could use it in the spring as well. Situations I've worn it in: New England winter, very windy Scandinavia in the spring, running in summer (don't ask), on the prow of a boat approaching a glacier at speed (I was cold in this last situation. Windchill wins!) THE BAD: The faux fur lining on the inside of the collar is comfy, but god-awfully ugly. It makes it impossible to use this jacket as part of a fashionable non-sporty winter ensemble. I value being warm over looking cool, so I use this anyway, but I really hope this changes. They could at least dye it black. THE MEH: No hood. Baggier than it is on the model - I ordered a couple of sizes, and if you want a more fitted look be prepared to be very uncomfortable when moving! That said, it's certainly not ugly, and can be quite photogenic, especially with the chevron detailing. Read more

Review:Although I had to return it to upsize from a S to a M - I love the jacket. The design is great, and I could already feel the warmth just trying it on. For size reference for others - 36 C/D chest, size 6 jeans from Gap. Across the chest and at the bottom at my hips is where it was too tight and if I had any type of sweater or thicker top on under it, it would be too tight. When I stretched my arms out front all the way I could feel it pulling across my back too much, so decided to upsize to a M instead, so that should fit just right now. Read more

Review:This jacket is awesome. It has the warmth of a heavy jacket, but it feels very lightweight. It does run small. I am usually a solid M/L so to be on the safe side I went with the large. It's not too tight to wear, but it's not as roomy as other things I own in a size large. Additionally, on the website it shows Tradewinds Grey to be darker, charcoal grey, but it's actually the Grey Ash color. Not a big deal to me, as I like both, but just be aware. I read another review that said the soft faux fur lining is ugly, but I actually like it. It's very soft and I think it's cute. Overall, it's a great jacket that I think will keep me warm throughout a South Georgia winter. Read more

Review:This is probably the 2nd cutest jacket I have ever owned! I love it. It is nice and warm and the small fits me perfectly (I am 127 lbs and 5'7", measurements are 34 28 33). My ONLY complaint is that the little hand pieces are too small! Where my thumb goes through, it pulls on the inside between my thumb and finger... it's extremely uncomfortable. It's really disappointing since I love thumb holes, lol, but if I take my thumbs out it still looks cute and keeps my wrists protected from the cold so I still love it and it's not worth going up a size. And for what it's worth, my first cutest jacket I have ever owned was a leather jacket that cost much more than this... this jacket is AMAZING for the price! Read more

Review:LOVE this coat! So warm and the thumb-y sleeves are the best (keeps the wind from blowing up your sleeve). I like how the pockets are fleece lined too. Only down size is you need to size up about 2 sizes. I wear a size 14/16 and I usually wear a L/XL top. I ordered a 2XL in this and it fits perfectly (with room for a sweater underneath). Read more

Review:Omg I can't even express how surprised I was with this coat. I read glowing reviews in advance of ordering, but when it arrived I was not at all convinced this could withstand a cold Nebraska winter. It's so lightweight and feels like a spring jacket. But letmetellya....I've not had a cold day yet; even in single digit weather. I think this coat is perfect for everyday use. Warm enough for casual wear, not at all bulky nor too hot when wearing it inside for a bit (like in a store). Blows my mind. I'd love to get another color! Extra bonus... The sleeves actually are long enough for my long arms so the wonderful thumb holes actually fit and are great for keeping out extra breeze. My only complaint is that I had to order a size larger just to accommodate my larger bust so the rest of the coat is a bit bigger that best fit would otherwise be (woes of the large chested woman). Buy this! Read more

Review:I was a little concerned when I realized the jacket was delivered in an envelope in the mailbox by the end of the driveway, as that had me thinking it is very thin. It is indeed thin, but the metallic-looking lining reflects your body heat keep you warm. I'm in the Midwest; since I've had it, it's not be lower than about 20 degrees and I've felt warm in the jacket. So, I can't comment at this point on whether or not it will suffice at temps colder than that. Where the sleeves end by the hands, there is elastic that fits snugly and comfortably against your skin. It doesn't seem like the cheap stuff that ends up piling. The imitation fur collar is extremely soft and attractive looking. It lays very flat and isn't like the cheap pile-type fur that some jackets have. There are two pockets and a zipped inside pocket, which is nice when just going for a walk with your ID and keys, etc. I really like this jacket and I'm happy I bought it. Read more
