Review:As a fair warning I do quite a bit of repair on Apple Mac computers. The security T6H Isn’t a security bit at all despite being labeled as such, it is just a regular torx bit so you won’t be able to open up mac products. Just as a warning. Read more

Review:The first tool kit was received with a tool handle that could not keep the bit from falling out no matter how hard the locking nut was tightened. After utilizing Amazon's on-line return chat, the CS rep immediately processed a no-cost replacement shipment that was received two days later. This new kit's tool handle worked perfectly! Closer examination revealed the defective handle missed a fabrication step that should have cut slots into the inner bit collar. Without those slots, the locking nut could not compress the collar to capture the inserted bit. The attached photo shows the two handles side-by-side. Hopefully this was a rare Kaisi QC mistake that allowed a defective item to be included in the first kit. Buyer beware! Investigate your kit as soon as you receive it in case yours has a similar defect. I am now very satisfied with the complete Kaisi 139 in 1 Electronics Repair Tool Kit! Read more

Review:I bought this for the specific task of replacing my Macbook Pro's display and was able to get 3/4s of the way through when the third P2 screw of twelve stripped all three of the P2 bits that came with the set. Fortunately, it didn't damage the heads of any of the screws I subsequently tried, but I then had to order a new set (of different) drivers so I can finish the job. On top of that, the suction cup barely suctions. The pry pics worked though, not that any of the two dozen guitar picks I've got lying around wouldn't have done as well. :) To be honest, I would avoid this kit if you are buying it for the bits. They are not well made, I know tiny pentalobe bits strip easily, but seriously, I got two unscrewed before all three bits packed in, and that's just ridiculous. Read more

Review:One of the pieces (U10) was missing and seller was quick to resolve the issue. Product itself seems well-made with a huge selection of tools and bits. Time will tell how long the bits will last. Pros: - There are some identical bits provided in the kit; which will likely be useful in the future as these bits have extremely small tips that can easily be damaged from rough use. - Case is organized and seems durable. Cons: The bits can easily slip out of the plastic slots. Upon receiving my kit, many of the pieces had slipped out into a jumbled mess. I will probably sew a flap on the top of each row to keep the bits in place. Read more

Review:I built a pc and I took apart my graphics card with this toolkit. It had all the bits I needed for the tasks and the bits feel pretty durable. I've had a cheap screwdriver that had their heads stripped after only a few uses so I'm am very satisfied with the bits in the kit. The anti static strap is a nice plus. I've had this kit for about a week and for now, I am satisfied with it. Read more

Review:I bought this kit primarily because I needed to get a T5 driver to take the cover off of my laptop. The bit stripped on the first screw. I have not encountered many laptop cover screws that were that tight, so that doesn't imply much durability for these parts. I am currently returning and replacing the set to see if I just got a bad batch of bits. Will update after trying out the replacement. Read more

Review:Very well thought out tool kit! Has duplicates of the ones most likely to use the most and is of good quality. I've bought a lot of "one use and toss it" tools in my life and this is not one of them! Has stuff I didn't know I needed till I got them as well. Just replaced a hard drive in a MacPro and all the tools worked perfectly with out problems. Would buy again without hesitation. Low price and good quality. Read more

Review:Overall I'm happy with this kit but there are a few cons worth mentioning: 1) The quality of the tools is on the "cheap feeling" side but they get the job done. 2) The different nibs can fall out of their holders pretty easily 3) Similar to the first con the nibs themselves feel cheap and I'm concerned about the longevity of them. Whatever metal was used to shape them feels "soft" if that makes sense Pros 1) I got this on a lightning deal for $20 would def recommend this kit at that price point. 2) The case that holds everything is good quality and holds the hand tools nicely 3) Tweezers came with plastic tips to keep them closed. I know this sounds like an absurd pro but, I have had several cases ruined because the tweezers pierce through the fabric over time. 4) A lot of different nibs for things I have no idea what they go to lol, I'm sure I'll come across them at some point and be glad I have the right tool for it. 5) All the nibs are engraved so if it falls out of its holder you can easily find where it goes. 6) I can throw away all my old sets that have missing tools over the years. It's hard to find a kit that offers this kind of versatility at this price point. A similar kit through iFixit is well over $80 (granted the quality is better). If you're looking to get something to get you by or for the odd job here or there this is perfect. Read more

Review:I bought this to complete a few repairs and use that as a chance to finally grab a solid bag of tools. This was exactly what I needed. The toolset was rather complete and everything worked like a charm. That made the repair really easy to complete as the tools were just right for the job. Overall, the build quality of the parts are great and I'd recommend this toolkit to other people looking to get their own tools for repairs. Read more
