Review:I originally purchased this device for my business use. However, it turns out way too small in width (just a little more than 1 inch) for an adult male. Considering I am only 5 ft 7, hardly imagine how others of larger size can hold it. Several times it just slipped from my hand like a wet bar soap. The screen is small accordingly. There is no keypad so I have to use the touch screen to enter the letters and numbers to connect to wifi. It took me more than 10 times to type correctly. Finally, it connected and I was able to use. To my disappointment, the translation accuracy is just so so, an app like "google translate" on any iphone or adroid phone works better, after unbiased benchmarking. I have to purchase the other brand which is much easy to hold (please see the comparison in the figure) and which has been proven to be reliable. I would say it still can do something, but it fits for my little son for fun rather than a businessman. Read more

Review:I returned because our trip got cancelled and we have no idea with Coronavirus when we will be able to travel again . My husband only speaks English but I speak Portuguese as well. We tried the Portuguese translation out. Pros: I loved how easy it is to use, intuitive. Small and well made. You can set up to save what was said and you can use it without wi-fi. Cons: Maybe because I have a (non asian) English accent, it missed what I said in English a few times. The translation into Portuguese (not even a slang) got mixed up a few times. Portuguese to English was mixed as well. So it is not 100% accurate. If you use it to translate very basic sentences in Portuguese-English. English- Portuguese, not sure about other languages). This gadget is helpful in an emergency situation for basic sentences. But can not be used to carry a conversation. Read more

Review:I have used it for 4 languages to and from English for translation. I am impressed with the accuracy. I mostly use audio, but the photo option seems to be good when I have tried it out. My only complaint is that I thought there would be a way to copy the translation or dictation from the screen via USB for conversion to text. If it had that feature, it would hit the ball out of the park. Maybe that is an option on a more expensive device. I do not know this market well enough to honestly compare it to other options available, but it gets the job done as advertised. Read more
