Review:I was very hesitant to buy this. I had tried one of those microscopes with a 7" screen, I also tried a handheld camera that connected to a USB on my computer and that was not that great. This is perfect. It's not to bulky and it does actually work really well. However there are some things you need to take into consideration. First off just like a magnifying glass you have to vary how far away from the object you hold this. Too far and the item appears dark and out of focus. You also have to understand that if an older person is using this and their hands shake that will causes problems. You basically get the same effect as if you zoomed all the way in on your cell phone camera and then spun around to aim it at something. It basically just becomes super hard to lock onto an object at that point as the image becomes jittery and impossible to get back in focus. What I like. It's pretty essay to operate, turn it on hold it about 1/8" above what you want to read and it will show you a clear magnified image. There are buttons to make the text larger or smaller, like I said super easy to use. What I don't like. This has options for you to record what you see onto a memory card. It's one of those things where you just have to ask, why? Why would anyone want to record something they are magnifying? This extra feature just adds extra buttons and makes it complicated for older folks. So does it work? Yes, really well. However, If you are buying for someone you have to be honest about whether they can A, turn it on and b, hold it steady. If those two things are a concern this may not be for them. Read more

Review:I got this for someone who is legally blind. She needs something small to take to work with her without it being obvious that it is there. As she does not want to tell people she is blind. this product is as good as many of the others she has had in the past including Humanware CCTVS. it has many different color modes to help you not strain your eyes. it is small and compact. seems to be build well. The only issue is that the little wrist holder is almost impossible to get on due to the design. Not that that matters much for most people. She is very happy with the product. it is beyond our expectations. Read more

Review:This digital magnifier reader is the best thing I ever had for reading. I am legally blind and have limited vision and I needed something like this to read with and I found it! if you have low vision this. Digital magnifier is for you. It's so easy to use. And it comes with a USB cable to charge the rechargable battery that's included. You can use it at night when you want to read a book in bed because of the LED light it has. But the light will not bother anyone else because when you use this device you lay it on the book and it blocks the light from shining in the dark room and the only person who sees the light is you. It's also easy to see dates on coins directions on back of boxes to prepare frozen foods or baking. You can even hook it up to your computer monitor and comes with a cable for that too! So go ahead! Order yours! You won't be disappointe! Read more

Review:I ordered this product after reading some of the 5 star reviews from people who impliedthat this unit was as good as some of the more expensive units. I have a vision disability and use a higher end digital magnifier (made by Humanware). So I ordered the Eyoyo unit to see if I overpaid for my original digital magnifier. The short answer is NO. There is no way I could use the Eyoyo unit on a daily basis due to its significant limitations. It has a very small screen To read print, you have to place the unit directly over the printer item (which has to be perfectly flat). It has a fixed focus so you must keep it directly on the printed material. This makes the reading position extremely uncomfortable after a few minutes. The light source is very weak, so it's not that easy to read the magnified print. I would not recommend this to anyone who has a serious eye disease such as macular degeneration. It would be almost useless. Do not buy it for your relatives or loved ones if you think you are saving money over the the higher end brands. This will not help them. Read more

Review:I needed a magnifier for text. A 5x magnifier with LED was no longer workable . My experience with this electronic magnifier is good.I was able to use the magnifier to read the instructions and after installing an SD card was able to use all functions. Only needed help from my neighbors eyes to find the pull down frame leveler. Blending the use of the magnification and color keys proved very helpful in reading different forms of text. I have not done well with pictures like birthday cards though some details on photos and graphics were viewable. There is a button to freeze the screen and another to save a screen shot to the SD card., neither of which have I found useful. Considering price and function, this has been a good purchase. Review:Got this for a low vision family member & it doesn’t really provide a lot of help. You can use your phone to see items on your tv & your phones magnifier much easier. Other than that an inexpensive magnifier with led lights provided better usability day to day. This was too expensive. Read more

Review:There are some small prints that even a good mag glass can't yield a clear image. With this device, I am able to see many tiny or poorly printed letters that are otherwise unreadable. My only quibble is that a wider screen would require less manual scanning. Read more

Review:I bought this to inspect stamps without having to use a traditional magnifying glass. I have it linked to my computer through an AV to HDMI converter so I am able to view the image on a large screen. It is also very effective used without connection to a larger screen. The pop out stand makes it very usful when viewing flat pages/stamps etc. Well worth the cost in my opinion. Read more

Review:I'm partially sighted. This device is highly portable and good value for the price, but there is a reason this is cheap. The magnification quality is nowhere near as good as a more expensive model such as those from HumanWare. Read more

Review:It's very clear and works well except I wish I had the 5" instead of the 3". so wouldn't have to move it back and forth when reading the newspaper. As stated in the description it has 2x, 4x, 8x, up to 32 x. I use it on 2x and it doesn't cover a column A much better option would be a dial so you could have 1/2's as well. Read more
