About this item Bamboo Electric Bass Ukulele --- all made of bamboo solid wood, the smooth texture of bamboo is a perfect touch and the finish is very perfect. It is attractive to create realistic and clear bass. Equipped with a tuner preamplifier --- Built-in high-quality EQ with tuning, low-range, mid-range, and high-band, 3 odes can be switched, volume adjustment, meet all players' need. Also it can be connected to a preamplifier, so it is a ukulele bass that can be said to be a strong ally for practice at home as well as live performances. Small scale--- Although the bass ukulele designed for 30 inches has a small scale that is easy to hold like an ukulele, it can carry a sound like a wood bass, so you can carry it fashionably . Precise sound matching--- The AKLOT ukulele base uses a peg that contains a high ratio of 23:1 precision gear. Although I turn the knob a few times with the gear, it is easier to finely adjust it, and because the gear does not move with the degree of tension of the string, it is difficult to loosen with respect to the tension of the string and the tuning is stable. Neck Adjustable--- Since the truss rod is installed inside the neck, you can adjust the neck with the attached hexagon wrench. Package list: Ukulele base X1, dedicated soft case X1, strap X1, hexagon wrench X1.

Review:Your browser does not support HTML5 video. i have never owned a Bass Uke before but since I have had a very good experience with an Aklot ukulele, I thought I would try out their Bass Uke. I'm as satisfied with this as I with my Aklot Uke. It has a great build quality - I didn't find any visible flaws in the workmanship and build. It's very well balanced. and there is no sharp frets, the action out of the box was completely playable and the Bass Uke Includes fret markers and strap buttons. Very much appreciate that it comes with a nicely padded case (it's not just a dust cover), strap, humidifier, batteries, and truss rod adjustment tool so for the price Aklot includes everything you need. The built-in electronics provide a tuner, bass, midrange, treble and volume knobs and worked as they should. This is so fun to play! I think this Bass Uke is well-suited for both beginner and experienced player. There is a little bit of a learning curve on working with the rubberized strings as they have less tension and more play in them. So as a bass player, I find a light touch is best to get a great acoustic sound but the rubberized strings are easy on the fingers so you can play this for hours and there is no finger discomfort. There are other bass uke strings available that I may try in the future. As for the sound quality, this Bass Uke has a really nice acoustic bass sound and that sound also translates well when played thru an amp. Overall, I love the size of the Bass Uke in comparison to a normal bass, it's lighter and smaller and can sit on my lap for hours without any discomfort. Doesn't have to be plugged in to play, great to travel with, and the easy playability makes it so fun! Aklot has done a great job with this Bass Uke and anyone looking to explore Bass Uke should definitely consider this one. Read more

Review:Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The Aklot Fretless Electric Bass Ukuleke is just what I have been looking for in a bass. My usual instrument is the upright bass but I rarely play it because, due to its size, it is a pain to get out. My car is too small for my big bass so it does not leave the house. The Alkot Bass Ukuleke sounds similar to the upright but is easier to store, play, and gig with. First all of the PROS: * Great size. About 1/10th the size of my big bass. * Nice large/round Upright Bass sound. * Quiet unplugged practicing. * Built in EQ and tuner. * Great finish and set up. Noticed small burrs on two of the bridge holes that are easily fixed when I change strings. * The strings are easier on my hands. * Lots of string options when it is time to change strings. * Beautiful padded case. * Great value for the money. Cons: * Strings are a little sticky. * Some learning curve due to the short scale length. The fret marks really help. * I dislike the strap pattern. A personal choice that I intend to change soon. Overall, the Aklot Fretless Bass Ukuleke is a great bass at a great price. I will be playing bass more frequently because it is readily available and easier on my hands... Priceless! Read more

Review:I’ve been very curious about U-Bass for some time now. This Aklot ubass was fairly reasonably priced so I figured I’ll give it a try. It came with a really nice padded bag, checkered strap and batteries for the pick up / tuner. The ubass is well made and just a gorgeous instrument. I have never played Ubass before and I’m still learning how to play it and sound correctly, but overall this is a great little beginner ubass, fun to mess around with and will look great with your collection. Review:It seems to be a well made instrument. Acoustically it is pretty good sounding.Sounds great using piezo pickup recording into my DAW! Will have to see if the intonation issues (slightly sharp on the first few frets, have to check intonation further up the neck on the E) on the E string will resolve after using the bass a while. The other strings seem pretty good. Hopefully it will improve with use. Will update if any changes (positive or negative). Amazon's packaging of the instrument was horrendous! The manufacture's box was open on the large box they put it in. The instrument bag was half out of this and the strap, hex key and humidifier were just loose in the big box, I could find NO batteries. The smaller manufacture's box was just thrown in a much bigger box with no additional stuffing and was just bouncing around inside. It is amazing that the instrument was not damaged. Amazon is truly becoming a crappy company. Read more

Read more

Review:The on-board tuner was of very poor quality, it was very difficult to tune any string. Within 4 days of receiving it a found a crack in the back of it running from the removable cover down to the bottom of the ukelele. The bamboo wood was paper-thin. If not for the crack, I would have kept it and worked with it using an external tuner. Read more

Review:The instrument LOOKS beautiful but sound terrible. It has very thick plastic strings that do not ring. They thud and the sound dies. I am sorry for the trouble. I will buy more carefully in my new order. Read more
