Review:I bought this 16" bike for a 6-year child who requested a bike from the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. After checking Target and finding out that their stock of bikes was wiped out on Black Friday, I decided to order one on line to avoid having to take a physical trip to Walmart in search of a bike and finding limited selections. After researching the many different options on Amazon, I noticed that there were a lot of reports of paint being scratched, sometimes missing nuts and other parts, but I decided to take the chance anyway. And lo and behold, as my luck would have it, not only was the paint on the handle bar scratched, a crucial nut to connect the front wheel to the frame was missing. The bike was delivered in the middle of the work week so we didn't have the chance to put the bike together until Saturday when the Angel Tree gifts were due. So we rushed down to the hardware store before heading down to the mall to drop off the bike, but all the different nuts we tried would not fit properly and we couldn't complete putting the bike together. So on a Saturday afternoon I had to rush down to Walmart and fight the crowds to purchase another bike and matching helmet to fulfill this child's wish. Upon speaking to the guy at Walmart who put their bikes together, I found out why the nuts we found at the hardware store wouldn't fit - since all these bikes come in from China, the nuts are in metric and we need to find a similar sized metric nut. Ugh!!! Now I have an extra bike with a missing nut that will need to be saved until next year - that is if i'm able to find a nut that will fit. Read more

Review:UPDATE - I was able to reach Dynacraft customer service on the 800 number finally. The customer service rep was polite, to the point, and within a couple minutes got me a replacement part ordered. I received it within a couple days, and now the bike is working great. I appreciate Dynacraft standing behind their product, I will buy from them again. ORIGINAL - I purchased this bike for my 4-year old son. He was so excited when he saw the dino theme and looks of the bike. Unfortunately, upon trying to put it together I noticed that the thread hole for the left pedal was defective, and no matter what I tried, refused to accept the left pedal screw. I noticed others had the same issue, I started a "case" on their website several days ago and have had no response. The 800 number rings endlessly. I will update my review when Dynacraft supports their product and reaches back out to me. Read more

Review:This bike was an absolute nightmare to put together. It should of been relatively easy, since there isn't much to it. But when we tried to put the front wheel on, the front fork was to narrow and the rim couldn't fit through. Called customer support, was offered a replacement part in a different color. I was concerned that the threads on the rim were stripped from attempting to attach to the fork and when I acquired about receiving a new one, they could only ship that in a different color also. None of the parts arrived in time for Christmas and this was a gift for my 5 year old son. Desperate, we managed to widen the front fork with a hunk of wood. After fixing their first quality control error, we noticed the cheap, plastic training wheel was cracked also. We had to buy replacement training wheels from Walmart. As for the dinosaur handlebar toy, forget it. It's just a button that makes a brief, dying screech sound. That's it. We couldn't even attach it to the handle bars because it was to small. They could of made attaching the toy ridiculously easier, but somehow someone thought struggling to screw on 4 screws would be ideal. We ended up tossing the cheap piece of crap and just gonna buy a bell or horn for it. The dinosaur decal plates are flimsy and cheap. The bike looks nice in pictures, but honestly should be sold in a dollar store. Its evident that this company does not pride themselves with quality control or customer service. Review:Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Absolutely awful. This is right size bike for our child based on all the specs. Our sons foot slipt off pedal while riding and wedged between the pedal and frame. It was completely stuck We could not remove pedal because it's welded on the frame. We ended up having to use a reciprocating saw, a sawzall, to cut frame off, while he was stuck on it, then hammer and bend the whole bike frame until we could loosenhis leg out. Of course after 45 minutes - he's in immense pain and traumatized being sawed out of his own bike. This bike isn't 3 weeks old. THE COMPANY NEEDS TO TAKE NOTICE AND MAKE A FIX Read more

Review:The bike itself is very sturdy and attractive. My five-year-old absolutely loves it. He says it’s easier to ride then his other bike. The one disappointing feature was the dinosaur accessory that makes noise. It is not sturdy at all and after the first fall it had cracked. After the fourth fall it no longer worked. On a 16 inch bike for a young child such accessory’s need to be made more sturdy. It’s expected that a child will fall or drop the bike. Read more
