Review:After reading some reviews, I was a bit reluctant to purchase this product from Amazon. "Not the real stuff", "different bottle", "smells nothing like it". However, I did buy it, and I can tell you that what I recieved is, in fact, the real deal. I have included a pic of the bottle I bought from Amazon (on the right) compared to the bottle I bought from Marshall Field's waaay back in 2003 (on the left). The bottles have some slight differences, but nothing too suspicious after 18 years. But what you're really looking for is the scent. It's the same, no doubt. And it is good stuff. If you're not familiar with Pi and you're looking for a new scent, just go for it. It's very unique. There's a hint of patchouli in there -- typically NOT my thing -- but it somehow really works here. At the risk of sounding like a seedy, modern-day caveman, I'll just say it: In my experience the women have always adored this stuff. Do yourself a favor and never tell them what it is! Drives 'em nuts, in a fun way. Lastly, as like most good-quality fragrances, it is quite potent. Remember, a man with class knows that such a fragrance is intended to be shared only with the person close to you; an embrace, a dance -- not a flashing billboard for all in the room to be bombarded. In other words: use sparingly. One spray directly up in the air in front of you, wait two seconds, close your eyes and walk through it. Now the evening is yours. Read more

Review:I previously had given this a 4 star rating based on what others think of this fragrance, rather than what I think. Who cares what anyone else thinks anyway?? So I've now changed it to 5 star. I've not smelled anything else like quite this. It's quite a unique frag and definitely a high quality product. The price has gone up a lot since I last bought it. It's a gourmand frag which means it's based on notes from edibles; Vanilla, Tonca bean, booze etc. It's just a lovely frag. The best way to describe it is puts me in a chill and relaxed mood. It's not "manly", or aggressive, or musky, or spicy. It's gourmand and floral and powdery. Other people are neutral about this frag, so if you want something that's safe and inoffensive definitely use this. But personally I love it and I'm glad I bought it (especially the price at which I got it for), I wear it quite often now, about 5 sprays on the shirt of this is more than enough for me. Read more
