Review:I received this product at a discount in return for my review. The picture quality of the monitor and the camera were good, and all of the parts and pieces arrived, including some some extra cords if needed. The only reason I rated this product slightly lower was because written instructions were slightly confusing as there are a few ways to wire things but once I figured out that you can connect the tail reverse lights to power the camera and plug in the monitor to the cigarette lighter it’s easy enough, provided you’re comfortable opening up your car’s tail lights, which just requires pulling out a few screws and splicing the wires. The monitor is attached to your dash with a sticky mount so you don’t have to do anything special to install that part. If you are a true novice with working on cars and can have someone help you, it’s a good option to upgrade your car’s safety features without having to pay as much. Update: I changed my review to 4 stars because I gave feedback about the instruction manual and they said they will make changes to make it clearer. Read more

Review:I already had a larger more "commercial" grade Amtifo wireless camera system in my RV and love it. I figured I'd give this one a try in my SUV. Product build quality was great. The included accessories and wiring harnesses made the installation simple. In this 2007 Ford Expedition the license plate is in the rear tailgate so powering the unit was a little more tricky than it would be in some other vehicles. I removed the inside tailgate cover and wired the power wires into the license plate lamps since they are always on when the vehicle is running in my case. I ran the wires in through one of the lower unused license plate holes and covered it with some electrical tape to restrict any water entering through there. Should be fine since it's also behind the license plate. This fully concealed the wiring. I put the horizontal mounting bracket that holds the camera behind the plate which made for a very stealthy installation. I see many who put the bracket in front of the plate which doesn't look nearly as nice. The display is quite clear and has a very wide field of view. Since it is wireless no need to route any wires throughout the vehicle. So far the reception is perfect and clear. I have the cameras antenna wire just coiled up behind the license plate. I was a little concern it might effect the wireless transmission but working great so far. If I had to come up with one "complaint" it would be the monitor mount. The quality of the mount was great but I had trouble locating a place that I liked to mount it. Several more options/locations would have been available if the screen had one more joint for left/right articulation or rotation. It will rotate left/right, up/down, but not tip left/right if that makes sense. Some of the places I may have wanted it the screen would have been sitting diagonally without this additional point of articulation. Perhaps if the display could simply rotate clockwise/counter clockwise it would correct my issue. Not really a problem, the final place on my console as shown in the photo worked out great but certainly could bother others as well. 4 DAY UPDATE: I've noticed a couple things that I wanted to report. The LED's on the camera are visible white, not infrared. I intended to have the camera on at all times but at night the LEDs are quite bright. It seems they intend for this camera only to be used as a reverse camera so the white LEDs would assist the reverse lights. The 5" display, while quite clear and nice, is actually a little too bright for night driving even with the brightness reduced to the lowest setting. Again, wouldn't be a problem if you intend to only using it as a reverse camera but in my case I wanted it on all the time so I'll need to switch off the monitor at night or change to using it for reverse only. Review:Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I installed the Antifo backup camera in a car I own that does not have a backup camera. Don't let the number of parts that came with the kit overwhelm you as you will use some, but there is the possibility that you won't. I had a few items leftover, but those parts did not hinder a complete installation. Installation took me about an hour and a half to complete. The installation was a breeze to do by myself. The only problem I had was with my Kia and how they installed the panels where I wanted to hide my wires. My son, a car mechanic, will be coming over this week to route the wire within the panels. He's more apt to do this type of work than me. With units from other manufacturers, you would have had to route the wire from the rear to the dashboard, which is not the case with this unit. Here it is over the air transmission, and not having any wires to run except for the camera to the backup light is all that is needed. Be sure to watch the installation video from the manufacturer as it will help. I am quite pleased with the backup unit, and the quality of the image is bright and extremely easy to see. With easy guides to help you to back into any parking spot. The upside is that it has given me the safety and confidence to back into more parking spots than I had in the past. I am an older adult and have problems turning all the way around to watch my parking. I use the side mirrors as well as the rearview mirror. Not anymore! I would give it five stars. Read more

Review:No fuddling with trying to get the camera to link to the display. Truly plug and play. Incredible image - way better than my wired unit. Super easy to install. Wires are long enough to reach power - you can wire it to a back up light, but an option which I REALLY like is that it includes a cigarette lighter attachment with a button switch and long enough wires to run from the license plate of my jeep wrangler unlimited to the front cigarette lighter and I can just switch it on when I need it. (great option for the "non-mechanically inclined" out there). This allows you to use it as a rear view camera or even switch vehicles if you want. This would also make it ideal for a front facing camera which can be used to protect low front spoilers from curbs like on my dodge challenger you can simply turn it on when you are pulling into a parking spot and turn it off when driving. You can link a second camera which I may do for my challenger where I can have one on the back and one on the front. *(not sure if seller sells a stand alone camera for this application)* In my testing I used it continuously while driving in a multitude of conditions and environments. I did not lose wireless connection at all. the image quality even while driving is great no freezes or pixilation. I can't say enough about the quality and ease of use for such a low price.
