Review:You want to know: what is the difference between these "My First Set" Magformers and the regular Magformers? Answer: the colors. The regular Magformers are in dull translucent colors. Review:Ok, so they definitely don’t give these things away, but they have been an excellent investment. My almost 4 year old loves these. She tries to build the shapes on the cards (occasionally successfully) and I really think they are great for spatial recognition and reasoning. Another thing that I like is that the smallest pieces (the triangles) are not so small as many of the pieces in other STEM-oriented toys, which is great when you also have a 1 year old, who can’t help but put everything that he finds in his mouth. Review:I hesitantly bought this starter set for a 5 year old, thinking it may be too babyish for him. However, it was quickly taken over by a 9 year old who absolutely loved it! Comes with pictures of suggested structures to make. Really fun! Read more

Review:Kids go crazy for these things. A very simple design that seems to keep them occupied for a long time. Better yet find an iron table and have them play with them there. These feel solid and i do not have fear of them falling apart exposing my child to loose magnets. Read more

Review:Everyone in my house of ALL ages continue to play with these daily. I bought these for my 3 year old for Christmas. I'm now realizing my mistake in only purchasing one kit. I highly recommend purchasing a larger kit or buying more than one if this is your first purchase. The only reason why I didn't rate them 5 stars is I feel you have to buy them on sale to make them worthwhile. Read more
