Review:Bought these because I bought a similar set for my mom maybe 2 years ago. The old set was fantastic and built well. This new set is much much cheaper. It's been maybe a month and there is noticable wear - the logos are worn off, the coating is all scratched up (we don't use metal utensils) and they have just general shoddy build quality. But the worst is the lack of balancing. If you're cooking something light (like an egg) the pans won't balance and don't sit flat on the burner, causing your food to sit and cook unevenly. Read more

Review:Product looks sturdy and works fine. The problem is the smell. Every time we use them it smells like toxic burning plastic and the fumes fill the entire house. We’re getting rid of them because we’re concerned that it could cause health damage. Read more

Review:I have not had time to use all the items in the set yet, but the VERY first time I used the smaller frying pan to simply cook 3 eggs, over easy, with little butter - part of coat burnt INTENSELLY. I tried washing and using A LOT of fat to cook two other times - where it is burned dark, it just sticks forever. I was expecting low quality, but this is bizarre. Review:Depending how you look at these pots and pans will help you rate these. For the price they are excellent pots and pans. As a starter kit they have been doing a great job so far. They are by no means the best cook ware you can get so if you want the highest quality you should spend some more money. These pots and pans are light but are quick to heat up. The non stick surface had worked perfectly and will last if you take care of it. Don’t buy these thinking you’re getting the best. These are great for the price and great as a starter kit for your kitchen. Expect to replace them by a year end or so. Read more

Review:I cannot think of a better value in cookware. I have tried copper frying pans and they aren't worth the powder to blow them up. I have tried the green non-stick pans and I put them in the same rating as the copper pans. I have searched all over for decent frying pans and I have found them in Amazon Basics. I am in my late seventies and these are by far the best I have ever used. I like cooking with olive oil and with or without oil these are truly NON-stick!! The one con I have is that Amazon's ad would lead one to believe that these come with lids and they don't, no big deal. I love cast iron but on my glass top range these are the best. To top it all off they are as attractive as any of the upper crust, more expensive pans. For the price you can't go wrong. Read more
