Review:I got this jacket a few months ago, but had not worn it until i took a trip to mountains in NC. I hit a deer coming out of a curse at about 40 mph. Went down hard on left side. Jacket and elbow pad took the impact on the pavement. Jacket sleeve was shredded but i was not hurt. Amazing jacket for the price. Will buy another....once i get a new bike :( Read more

Review:I will call this preliminary because I have only had it a short time and cant comment on its longevity. However ... This jacket is at very least the equal of similar ones I looked at costing $150 and more. Lets start with ... I was overwhelming impressed when I received it. It has pockets galore interior and exterior and like a truly thought out touring jacket the tops of the exterior pockets fold over before being velcro'ed shut so absolutly no rain can get in there. There is even an interior pocket labeled phone! There is a heavy zipper and then a strong hook and loop flap that goes over it. The hook and loop is the good stuff that sounds like you are tearing a phone book in half when you undue it. The jacket has a whole series of straps that help to custom fit the jacket. At the waist, across the biceps, at the wrists, at the bottom of the jacket and at the neck. What seemed like a formless jacket when I took it from the box looks like a tailored jacket after some strap adjustments and I must say .. I think the jacket is awesome looking and I look good in it. It is built to fit a variety of body types among a particular size. The fabric is the same nice tough tight fabric I saw just last week costing $200 at the cycle shop. Its tough and I think it will survive a fall just fine but what I discovered today was .... It really really really keeps the wind out. It came with elbow, shoulder and a back armor. There is also a somewhat thin liner that can zip in or take out and a whole host of vents. Today was cool for AZ at about 49 degrees with blustery wind when I went out for an 80mile ride. The ride was almost all highway at 70-75mph. I wore a simple uninsulated standard weight long sleeved tee shirt and the jacket with lining. I was very warm!! Were I still back in NYC maybe I would have gone for a sweatshirt and I think it is all I would need because the fabric and all the closures do such a good job of keeping the wind out you dont feel cold. I would have included a light scarf because I couldnt get the throat strap quite tight enough to seal completely. Outside of that it was awesome and I feel comfortable that I can ride down into the mid 40's with just that T shirt here in AZ. I swear I dont know how they can sell this jacket at that price but I would buy one before someone figures out a mistake was made!! I would right now buy another just for backup but am still losing weight and am afraid it might not fit in a year. It is really that good!! For those gauging size. I am 5'9 and 195lbs and even though I am an old guy I still have a somewhat athletically shaped body with a 45in chest and 37 inch waist and not much belly. The Xl was perfect. At my chest size I would have been uncomfortable in a large and certainly wouldn't have been able to fit a sweatshirt or vest. Like I said .. the jacket will work with different body types but you are married to the armpits and I could feel anything smaller would have been to tight. Awesome awesome jacket and greater value. Review:I will post pictures soon. 1. Jacket fit (according to their chart) is dead on. 2. Jacket Material and Stitching is on par with all others (Joe Rocket, Field Sheer, Alpine Star, Moose). 3. Armor is standard/Average and can be removed easily (Removing Spine Guard is a bit of a struggle). 4. Attention to detail is very good. ie jacket insert has button loops that are different colors (on mine one is black one is white) so you never button your insert sleeve twisted. 5. It is water proof/resistant (Stood in Monsoon Rain) 6. LOTS of pockets, a lower back zippered pocket can hold a mac book pro easily. 7. Straps/Tensioners whatever they are called are all in the right spots to take up the 'loose' fitting areas to prevent "Flapping" NOTE: THEY COULD USE 1 or 2 more on each of the arms. 8. Definitely warm and wind proof. Rode in 39 degrees, my core was comfortable at 90mph. 9. Sleeves are long enough that they don't ride up when reaching for the controls. 10. PRICE CAN'T BE BEAT!!!! Review:Brand I'd never heard of...crazy low price...probably junk, but worth checking out. Those were my thoughts before I ordered this jacket. Shocked when I opened the box & put it on. This is truly a top-quality riding jacket. Quality material, nice stitching, integrated mesh liner, zip-out thermal liner, 5x zippered vents for warm weather, armor in elbows, shoulders & back. Everything about this jacket is quality. It would be a decent value at 4x the price. I liked it so much I ordered identical jackets for my wife & son. You won't be disappointed. Read more

Review:For $50 it's really hard to fault this jacket. I have other way more expensive jackets that I ride in better/warmer weather. I wanted something inexpensive, Hi-Viz, and warm for the cooler months here in the mild SC winters. This jacket fits the bill. Makes me look like a highlighter going down the road, keeps me warm, fits me well enough, and seems to offer decent protection (hopefully I won't have to test it out). My only complaints are the small openings for the body protection, making it almost impossible to get some decent armor in it, and the large HWK branding on the chest and sleeves (which is pretty common in lower priced gear for some reason). I matched these with the HWK pants, and have a nice warm suit for $100. Win in my book. Read more

Review:This jacket seriously should be $140 or more. I have no idea how something this high quality is so cheap. I have Codura hiking packs that cost $400 and this thing is definitely made with Codura. It’s very visible at night and during the day, you can remove the inner liner to get an all mesh liner exposed. It’s breathable and water proof. Doesn’t even let bugs splatter on it. Anything over than nude is hot on a bike in Texas but this thing ventilates so well that i’m dry in about 5 minutes of being inside AC. Pros: 1. Highly visible 2. Very good and removable padding 3. Water proof 4. Breathable 5. Tons of pockets. 6. Very, very strong velcro 7. Well constructed seams 8. Actual Codura nylon. 9. Well ventilated for a thick riding jacket. Two negatives: 1. The zipper on the back vent broke already. For $40, I don’t care, and any tailor can fix it cheaply. 2. Safety issue: If you have a quick release chin strap on your helmet, the velcro on the neck of this thing WILL attach and release your chip strap while riding. You must close the collar or pin that velcro tab down with a safety pin if you want the collar open. This is a life or death issue in a crash, do not take this lately. Read more

Review:Amazing value, good quality, order 1 size larger. Chart is accurate. I'm 48" chest and ordered a 3xl. A little tight with the liner and spine / back armour but perfect when removed. At 6' 3" 255lbs normally I wear 2xl but the chart is correct in suggesting a 3xl. Double flap front, vents, pockets, lightweight, waterproof and breathable. A must have if you ride. Read more

Review:Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Review:I teach people how to ride motorcycles for a living, so I have to start by saying that I've seen all manner of horrible, cheap and dangerous gear for riding. This jacket had some great reviews, but at 60 bucks...lets just say I was sceptical. I needed an inexpensive waterproof jacket to use offroad this spring, so what the hell let's have a look. I was absolutely floored when this thing showed up, no way could you actually sell this jacket for $60 Canadian, ship it halfway across the world and make any money! The build quality is great, how it actually performs out in the wild I'm not sure yet but it has fantastic potential. This is a damn nice jacket for the money, not perfect but very good. Material, stitching, zippers and build are all outstanding and I'm looking forward to getting out to try it very soon. A+ definite steal at this price or even double the price. Read more

Review:Bought this to replace a 20 year old riding jacket that when new cost ten times what this jacket cost. The old jacket did well but lost its waterproofing some years ago. This new jacket, though it appears lesser quality and is much lighter, fits well, rides well and feels comfortable and safe. And for the price, you could afford a new one every few years and not even notice your wallet being lighter. Lots of features built into this jacket that other reviewers have talked about. The armour is a bit lacking however. It’s fairly soft. I’m sliding the armour from my old jacket into place in this new jacket. So it will get a lot of use over the next few years and I’ll update this review. Everyone loves new. Let’s talk in a year or two. Read more

Review:I'm very impressed with this jacket. The construction is top-notch, the materials are durable, the fit is good, and it's waterproof. Very satisfied with the quality. I'm actually tempted to buy a second as a backup for when this wears out. I'm a 42 chest, about 185 lbs, 5'10", and the size LARGE fits with enough room for layers underneath. The jacket can be tightened around the waist to control flapping. Feels snug at speed if you open the right vents to suck the air out. Read more
